building packets with libnet

I'm testing the state tables of FW-1. To test this, 
I'm building my own packets with libnet. Anyone
have any examples of source they would be willing
to share on building packets?  As I am a beginner
with libnet and building packets, I would appreciate
any "beginner" code.
