You may have heard the term "tollbooth" from an IBMer in reference to a set of so-named proxy machines formerly used to access the Internet from the IBM internal network. I'm not aware it being related to the IBM firewall products. Tony Rall
jcp01 () ibm net on 02/07/99 20:27:45 IBM uses the term "tollbooth" in relation to certain services (FTP in particular) on their firewalls (secure gateways). Can anyone tell me what they actually mean by this? <<
