RE: POP3 and SMTP slow on Linux since we installed a PIX

What revision of the PIX code are you running?
I had seen similiar problems with PIX version 4.2(3) and
needed to upgrade (a confirmed bug). Check you logs and see if more than
just
POP/SMTP are getting rejected.
The bug was that the PIX would indescrimanently drop packets (for some
reason
SMTP was dropped more often).
Like mentioned buy others check to see what's happening with 113 this.
