wais uses standard tcp. So most (if not all) firewalls have a generic tcp proxy/filter/... that can be defined for the wais port. In terms of inspecting the wais protocol, I don't think any firewall does this. Regards, Marc. At 09:17 98-08-03 -0700, Jefferson County Rural Library wrote:
