Hello all, I must confess I didn't spent much time to check whether this subject had already been debated. If it has, shame on me for not having found the info. In the later case would people flaming me be so kind to accompany the flames with some pointers to the info :) I also certainly not want to start one of those Unix vs NT war. This being said here is my question: Is it correct to believe that attacks directed against the TCP/IP stack (like the famous (infamous?) OOB attack family ) could lead to crash an NT Firewall where a Unix based firewall should continue to run?
