invitations available for institutions who have implemented IAM or are currently implementing IAM. Please let me know
if you are interested in a spot – this starts next week and is looking to be a very rich and rewarding experience.

Happy to chat further about the intiative!

Subject: [SECURITY] Opportunity for HBCU's and MSI's to participate in 2021 Four Nations Cybersecurity Virtual Study
Tour

Good morning,
I’m writing to invite Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU) and Minority Serving Institution (MSI) to
participate in the upcoming CAUDIT Four-Nation Cybersecurity virtual study tour, it will be in collaboration with
EDUCAUSE and REN-ISAC, and from Canada (CUCCIO) and Canada’s NREN (CANARIE).

2020 was a year that presented a multitude of challenges and opportunities. In the cyber context this involved a
significantly changing threat landscape, rapidly moving threat actors with a high number of data breaches, ransomware
attacks, and even sophisticated state-sponsored cyber-attacks

This year’s theme is ‘Cyber security as (an international) team sport. Local challenges, national solutions,
international opportunities’.

Showcasing the best practices of host universities from Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the US, this virtual study
tour will facilitate networking with peers from across the northern and southern hemisphere as delegates come together
to consider the security challenges currently facing institutions everywhere.

Aimed at cyber security leaders and decision makers within institutions, this tour is limited to 45 delegates – 15 from
each of the regions: Australia/ New Zealand, Canada and the US.

Participants will be encouraged to expand their network of international peers, sharing knowledge and experience on the
topics covered and potentially identifying opportunities for future collaboration.

Each of the seven virtual tour sessions will last approximately 1.5 hours, and tour participants will be expected to
attend all of these to ensure continuity and the best experience for everyone involved.

Sessions begin on May 12th at 6pm EST.

It will be just like a regular, in-person study tour, only from the comfort of your own home!

If you would like to participate in this Cyber Security Virtual Study Tour – please let me know by Monday May 3rd,
2021.

I’d be happy to jump on a Zoom call to answer any questions you may have.

Note in the registrations: All delegates agree to share name, title, institution and email address with other delegates
and organisers as part of their participation and to facilitate collaboration/networking.

Regards,

Brian
