The Assistant/Associate Director, Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a proactive, collaborative, detail-oriented,
problem-solving leader. This position will be a key leader in the University's technology organization. Reporting to
the Chief Privacy and Security Officer (CPSO), this role will be responsible for university-wide entitlement,
authentication, authorization, governance and identity operations. This will be a high visibility role with
responsibility over all IAM technology solutions across the university and partnerships with IAM functions throughout
the University of Illinois System. The Assistant/Associate Director will be responsible for building and executing a
transformational, modernization strategy that aligns with University's goals and objectives. It will be critical to
strategically leverage people, process, and technology from across the University of Illinois System to protect
information assets and enable the organization. The ability to develop strong relationships across leadership will be a
