White-paper on - Early Warning System for Cybersecurity Incidents

One of the core principles of the EDUCAUSE Cybersecurity program is to collect and connect key trends and support 
innovations.

Attached is a recently published white paper with some noteworthy results, specifically the ability to reduce the time 
to discover and fix.  The results are encouraging, the study's participants were small colleges from the Independent 
College Enterprise<https://www.iceschools.org/> with constrained budgets and staff.

Arctic Security<https://arcticsecurity.com/> is a Finnish cybersecurity company based in Oulu, Finland. Their approach 
to supporting higher ed was to first prove efficacy and value by co-authoring a white paper with a group of EDUCAUSE 
member colleges with a research-based approach. They were able to accomplish this project even though the study's time 
frame happened during the pandemic.
