Jake, Chris and Karl will discuss: 
The student and employee onboarding process, known as Access Provisioning or Account Provisioning often starts with a 
collaboration between a school’s Registrar, Human Resources and Information Technology teams. Together they make it 
possible to create new user accounts, provide password management, grant permissions to resources, and assign e-mail 
accounts. Access provisioning can be a complex time-consuming process and it can be frustrating for new and existing 
students needing immediate access to their courses and/or employees who need to work. Deprovisioning can be just as 
challenging waiting for an account to be deactivated in a timely manner. Automated Identity and Access Management 
systems provide operational efficiency, security, systematic workflows and improved productivity.
