The Indiana University (IU) Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research (CACR) is seeking an individual with highly
specialized expertise in cybersecurity, including risk management, cybersecurity standards and best practices, and
regulatory compliance. The incumbent will work closely with researchers, administrators, and technology providers on
campus to understand IU’s research landscape, systems and services, workflows, and leverage this knowledge to protect
research data. Responsibilities include providing consulting and training to researchers and other campus stakeholders,
analyzing and documenting systems, performing risk assessments, designing secure solutions, coordinating projects,
participating in teams and ad-hoc committees, creating reports, and representing IU locally and nationally. The
position provides an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on IU’s ability to attract funding and enable
cutting edge research.
