SANS Security Awareness Summit, August 7-8 in San Diego

The 6th annual SANS Security Awareness Summit<https://sans.org/SecAwareSummit> will be held August 7-8, 2019 in San 
Diego, CA. This is the largest and most interactive gathering of security awareness professionals from around the 
world. Learn from real practitioners how they are effectively managing and measuring their human risk. Take away ideas 
from the show-n-tell and video wars events while building your network with peers from around the world. You’ll have 
the opportunity to meet attendees from all sectors, not just higher ed.

following the summit that will cover learning theory and instructional design on August 9, 2019. You can also attend 
the SANS course MGT433: Build a Mature Awareness Program before or after the summit (August

The 2-day class walks through the fundamentals of building a mature security awareness program, to include interactive 
team labs.
