Are you or someone you know looking for a new opportunity where you can be at the forefront of groundbreaking security 
operations initiatives? We are seeking a Director, Information Security Services to join our team. The Director will 
take the lead on efforts of Purdue's membership into the newly formed OmniSOC<https://omnisoc.iu.edu/> to enhance 
security operations for five Big Ten universities.

In this role you will also direct all ongoing activities related to the development, implementation, provision, 
maintenance and operation of central information security services. This includes but not limited to incident response, 
security operations center, monitoring, vulnerability scanning, firewall operations, anti-virus support, intrusion 
detection, forensics, metrics, and production readiness.

As evidenced with our participation in OmniSOC, Purdue University's IT Security and Policy 
department<https://www.purdue.edu/securepurdue/programs/index.html> is on the cutting edge of expanding and enhancing 
our security program working with internal and external partners.  The department spans a wealth of knowledge in all 
aspects of information security. We are home to and work closely with a leading internationally known security research 
organization, Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security
