I have served as a committee member and a chair for this committee and I highly recommend that experience for anyone who is interested in further developing leadership skills and growing and expanding their network. You become a voice for the constituents and help to formulate a conference that is well-received by community. I encourage anyone who is interested in becoming part of this group to volunteer; you will not regret your decision. The EDUCAUSE folks do an awesome of job of guiding and informing.
