Best of Luck, Michael and if you get bored with all that private sector funding for security, you’ll be welcomed back
with open arms in higher ed!

Please forgive the cross-post.

After a dozen years as a CISO in Higher Ed, I’ve decided to move back to the private sector. A side benefit will be a
cut in my one-way commute time from 1.5hrs (Cinti <====> Lexington) to less than 20 minutes!

I’d like to thank everyone who has assisted me over the years. You all are noble servants and rarely do you have the
resources needed to even tread water well and yet you all persevere for the common good.

My last day with the University of Kentucky will be July 29th. If you are so inclined, feel free to reach out to me on
LinkedIn and keep in touch.

Thanks,

Mike
