EDUCAUSE (http://www.educause.edu) invites applications for the position
of Information Security Manager. This is a full-time, exempt position with
salary commensurate with experience.

The Information Security Manager (ISM) is a critical member of the
information technology team reporting to the Chief Technology Officer
(CTO). The ISM acts as an interface between the strategic IT goals and the
process-based activities and work of the technology-focused staff within
the IT organization. The ISM must be able to translate the IT-risk
requirements and constraints of the business into technical control
requirements and specifications as well as develop metrics for ongoing
performance measurement and reporting. The ISM coordinates the IT
organization¹s technical activities to implement and manage security
infrastructure and provides regular status and service-level reports to
management.
