We have recently posted two leadership positions in the Information Security Office here at the University of Chicago 
Medical Center.  Both roles will span both the hospitals as well as the clinical enterprise of the University of 
Chicago (such as the practice plan, the revenue cycle and the health plan).  The jobs and responsibilities are as 
follows:

Director, Information Security
This role will be the key owner of the risk management functions, security project management, security awareness and 
development of standards, processes and procedures.  Expected to have a staff growth over time.  This director will 
report directly to me.

Information Security Manager
This role will be the key owner of security operations and incident response functions.  This will be a hands-on and 
technical manager.  Will start with 2 FTEs and expected to grow over time.  The manager will report directly to me.
