We're halfway through the 2-month summer window of the REN-ISAC and SANS
partnership for bringing SANS security training to the .edu community at

The window closes July 31.

New to the lineup of OnDemand Technical, GIAC Certification, Securing

discounted pricing. The special pricing is available during a purchase
commitment window, June 1 through July 31 for:

About the training
==================

** Securing the Human End User Awareness training ** provides extensive
employee security awareness training that targets today's weakest link
in enterprise security – the human. Online training modules cover topics
such as social engineering, using e-mail safely, smartphone security and
FERPA. The special pricing is a limited-time opportunity. During this
window, the price is $1.75 per user for a 1-year license (minimum order
$2,100) or $3.00 per user for a 2-year license (minimum order $3,600).

** Securing The Human Developer ** provides training for those involved
in the software development process and addresses numerous issues
including injection flaws, cross-site scripting, cross-site request
forgery, transport layer protection and more - there are currently 13
modules in all. During this window, the aggregate-purchase price is $250
per person for a 1-year license (minimum order $2,500).

** OnDemand Technical Training & GIAC ** provides a choice from more
than 40 SANS courses that can be accessed from a PC or iPad, such as:

SEC401: Security Essentials Bootcamp Style
SEC504: Hacker Techniques, Exploits & Incident Handling
SEC560: Network Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking
FOR508: Advanced Computer Forensic Analysis and Incident Response
MGT414: SANS +S Training Program for the CISSP Certification Exam

Each course is taught by one of the top SANS instructors using a mix of
slides, video demonstrations, interactive labs and assessment tests. The
student will have four months of access to the OnDemand course.

During this window, the price for a SANS OnDemand course is $2,150 and
the GIAC exam price is $599 when bundled with a course (minimum order
$6,450).

** NetWars ** is a hands-on, interactive learning environment that
enables information security professionals to develop and master the
skills they need to excel in their field through a series of challenge
exercises. During this window, the price for NetWars is $1,350 per
person when bundled with an OnDemand order.
