Do you have to have a fancy camera with all of the bells and whistles, or will a point and shoot work? I think it
sounds like a lot of fun.

This is a quick reminder for those who are coming to SPC and enjoy photography. Join me for a morning photo-walk
around the area and a breakfast table of photography chat. If you're interested, let me know. If you want to take up
my offer on trying a vintage camera that inspires modern retro-photography, be sure to let me know so I can bring the
appropriate gear and film.

Thanks,

Brad Judy

Subject: [SECURITY] SPC photowalk interest check

Many months ago I talked with a member of the SPC committee about the idea of leading a photowalk during the SPC event
for any attendees who are also photography geeks like myself. I missed the boat for getting something into the
official agenda, but wanted to check interest in doing one anyway. Below is a brief description and if you are
interested, please reply to me directly (remember this list defaults to reply-to-list).

Description: A walk around the surrounding St Louis sites (Arch, river, stadium, etc.) for those who enjoy photography
and what to share that enjoyment with other InfoSec/Photo geeks. I will scout the area the prior morning to try and
identify opportune locations within a short walk and be back for the main breakfast. Those who want can gather at the
same table at breakfast to share images and discuss. Hopefully we can get some nice pictures of things like the Arch
at sunrise.
Date and time: Wed, April 17th 6am (same time as the Fun Run)
Location: Start in the hotel lobby and walk a yet to be determined loop in the nearby area
Requirements: Not much here - bring your own camera of any type (hardcore, casual, camera phones, digital, analog,
etc.) and a willingness to share your enjoyment of the art and practice. It's a walk, so bring appropriate attire and
comfortable shoes.

For the hardcore, you're welcome to join the scouting run (same time the day before), but it's a scout so the pace will
be faster with an interest in checking out multiple locations and less time for taking pictures. It's also an
adventure - maybe we'll spot something great that doesn't happen on the main walk, but maybe we'll get chased out of an
accidental trespass.

A special opportunity for the Instagram enthusiasts: if you're a lover of the modern take on classic square format
analog photography and are interested in shooting with a classic medium format analog camera, let me know and I can
bring one (or more) along. Note that these are manual everything - focus, aperture, shutter speed, no light meter,
etc. so some pre-walk training might be needed.

Please send me a direct reply if you are interested.

Thanks,

Brad Judy
