and technical training to the education community at substantially
discounted pricing.

An interactive webcast is scheduled for Tuesday, May 21 to explain the
program and provide opportunity for Q&A.

The special pricing is available during a purchase commitment window,
June 1 through July 31, for:

   - SANS Securing The Human security awareness training,
   - SANS OnDemand & GIAC, technical training & certification, and

About the training
==================

Securing the Human provides extensive employee security awareness
training that targets today's weakest link in enterprise security – the
human. Online training modules cover topics such as social engineering,
using e-mail safely, smartphone security and FERPA. The special pricing
is a limited-time opportunity. The regular price for 250 users is $20
per user, but during this window, the price is $1.60 per user for a
1-year license (minimum order $2,000) or $2.80 per user for a 2-year
license (minimum order $3,500).

OnDemand technical training provides a choice from more than 40 SANS
courses that can be accessed from a PC or iPad, such as:

SEC401: Security Essentials Bootcamp Style
SEC504: Hacker Techniques, Exploits & Incident Handling
SEC560: Network Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking
FOR508: Advanced Computer Forensic Analysis and Incident Response
MGT414: SANS +S Training Program for the CISSP Certification Exam

Each course is taught by one of the top SANS instructors using a mix of
slides, video demonstrations, interactive labs and assessment tests. The
student will have four months of access to the OnDemand course.

SANS "long" OnDemand courses are regularly $4,500 but during this window
the price is $1,350. The GIAC bundled price is $579. The minimum order
size is $4,000.

NetWars is a hands-on, interactive learning environment that enables
information security professionals to develop and master the skills they
need to excel in their field through a series of challenge exercises.

offerings and instructions to register.

Happy Users

"I have never seen such high quality training, distilled to a perfected
message, and compressed into a timeframe that any organization should
willingly commit employee time to taking as a risk reduction strategy."
James A. (Jim) Richards III, West Virginia Chief Information Security

"We just purchased the SANS Securing the Human, which I think is the
best I have ever seen. In addition it's backed up by SANS extensive
