Preparing for a Two-Factor Auth RFP

We are in the early stages of drafting an RFP to send out to two-factor vendors. Our goal is to integrate as many of 
our core systems as possible, including Linux, Windows, network devices, web applications, etc.

Can anyone who has gone through this process speak to pitfalls, lessons learned, undocumented bogs that they wish they 
knew before hand? Anything from comments to example RFPs would be great to see.
