Subject: Announcing the Software Developers Webinar Conference

We heard you loud and clear! Due to popular demand, the 2011 Federal Student Aid Software Developers Conference will
be on August 24, 2011.

Leveraging technology this year's conference will be in a Webinar format from 8:00AM-5:00PM and broadcast from FSA
Headquarters UCP.

Objective of the Conference Webinar:
This daylong conference is designed for software developers, their customers and institutions that develop their own
software for financial aid processing. The objective of the Federal Student Aid Technology Office is to provide
information on enhancements to the systems that enable Title IV financial aid.

The day's activities will begin with addressing the Customer Experience followed by FSA Systems enhancements, Personal
Identifiable Information (PII) data protection and a discussion on Master Clauses.

FSA will be addressing enhancements to addressing updates to COD, DMCS/DLSS, FASFA and NSLDS.

"The NSLDS session will focus primarily on the capabilities to report data to support Gainful Employment regulations,
recent reporting capabilities added for schools to manage their portfolios and delinquencies, anticipated changes to
transfer monitoring and prescreening processes for 2012/2013 cycle, and changes to exit counseling tools."

Equally important, the need for institutions of higher education to protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
and to improve their overall security posture will be addressed.

Who should attend?
Software Developers, Chief Information Officers, VP/ Directors of Information Technology, Chief Information Security
Officer, and Directors of Quality Assurance.
