Interesting new developments ...

Notice still, it would appear, a confusion between "security" (i.e. technical measures) and "privacy" (which are 
practices surrounding information) that get munged together in the thinking on this subject.

Perhaps higher education, in doing what it does best: education, could help coach up on this point?
