Subject: [SECURITY] SANS IPv6 Essentials - April 28

Hi all,

MOREnet has started a big push to get our members ready for IPv6. Because
of this push, we decided that we would like to have the SANS IPv6
Essentials class. Working with SANS, we have the class scheduled through
the SANS partnership program. The class will be taught via the SANS vLive
technology and the instructor is Dr. Johannes Ullrich. Cost for this one
day class is $250 for educational institutions.

    SEC546 :: IPv6 Essentials
        Date: Thursday, April 28th, 2011
Times: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM EDT
        Price: $250 (List price: $890)
        Registration: https://www.sans.org/registration/ivc.php?lid=23818

If you are interested in hosting a remote classroom, please contact Daryl
Gilbertson (<dgilbertson () sans org>). You don't need to host in order to
join, you can also sign up as an individual.

Missouri Classroom locations:
Columbia, MO (host location)
Cape Girardeau, MO (down in the boot heel of Missouri)
Maryville, MO (Upper northwest corner of the state)
Kirksville, MO (Central/northeast corner of the state)
Joplin, MO (Still waiting on the paper work so it isn't listed yet but
that will be southwest corner)

Other Remote classrooms:
Manhattan, KS - KanREN/Kansas State University
Sarasota, FL - Ringling Museum of Art - FSU
Salt Lake City, UT - University of Utah

If you are interested in hosting a classroom, you need to have 5 students
that will be attending at your location. If you can get 5 students in a
room, you can fill out the paperwork (not too onerous) and get your site
listed on the SANS Partnership page and maybe pick up a few more people.
If you have questions about hosting a site, please contact me or Daryl
Gilbertson (dgilbertson () sans org). I can answer general questions about
hosting a classroom but you will need to contact Daryl for the contracts.

Hope to see you in class!
Beth
