We are requesting your assistance with a Survey on Technology Initiatives in Higher Education, on behalf of the Fordham
University Information Security Office, to assist in developing ongoing programs to advance technology and build new
capabilities.

The purpose of this survey is to exchange ideas and information from members of the education community about
initiatives that address computer and network security, policy, training and learning, and that tackle the unforeseen
risks associated with information technology assets. It contains 33 questions and should take no longer than 20 minutes
to complete.

You have been selected to participate in this survey to add your perspective to this body of research. Optionally, if
you’re willing, please provide your email address at the end of the survey. We appreciate it. While access logs of
the Web version of this survey are maintained, there will be no logging of originating IP addresses or URL information.
Results of the survey will be released in aggregate form for structured responses only. Individual data records (which
contain no identifying data in any case) will be viewed only by the team preparing the survey report.

Please help to contribute to this research on computer and network security in higher education. Complete the survey
questions by October 1st in order for your responses to be included.

To take the survey now, copy and paste the following URL into your web address bar:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/T9VTXZH

Submissions are due by October 1, 2010.

Sincerely,
