Sender Policy Framework (SPF) with Google Apps mail

We are to the point of seriously considering the use of Sender Policy
Framework (SPF) with Google Apps Mail.
Are any of you currently using Google as your mail provider, and if so, have

1) How did you integrate this into your (Security) Policy?

2) I have read of some drawbacks to using SPF, what are your experiences?
