Help us alert the students on your campus about their chance to win cash,
gain experience, and earn recognition with a poster or one short video!

The EDUCAUSE & Internet2 Higher Education Information Security Council
(HEISC), in cooperation with Chapman University, CyberWatch, and the
National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA), is conducting its fourth contest
in search of short information security awareness videos and posters
developed by and for college students.

DETAILS
=======

  * We are seeking creative, topical, and effective posters and videos of
     two minutes or less that focus attention on information security
     issues and how best to handle them.

  * Two categories of videos are being sought:
       - 2 minutes or less, for use in training or instruction
       - 30 second public service announcements (PSAs)

  * Posters may be submitted separately.

  * Deadline for submissions is March 11, 2011. (While a year way, this
     would allow students to work on an entry during the summer or for a
     professor to include it in course plans for the fall or spring
     semester.)

FOR THE WINNERS
===============

  * Cash prizes ($1,500, $1,000, and $500) will be awarded in each of the
     three categories for a total of nine cash prizes. Honorable mention
     prizes will also be awarded. (Special thanks to the co-sponsors,
     CyberWatch and NCSA).

  * An opportunity for students to gain experience by developing creative
     and effective short videos or posters.

  * Winning entries also receive national exposure: exhibited on the
     EDUCAUSE and contest-related websites, heavily promoted during
     National Cyber Security Awareness month in October, and may be used in
     campus security awareness campaigns.
