Hello All, The University of California, Irvine is seeking to fill the position of IT Application Security Engineer in the Office of Information Technology (OIT). The successful candidate will have a passion for IT security and possess application development and maintenance experience, preferably in a University setting, as well as top-notch communication, interpersonal, and project management skills. As a member of a dynamic information security team, this position takes a leading role in application security efforts, including formal reviews, penetration testing, and consultation on the life cycle of complex web/database driven applications with campus-wide scope. Work includes implementing data and application security strategies, maintaining enterprise application security infrastructure, and key participation in information security architecture and initiatives.
