Ray,

We just implemented the Enterprise version of OpenDNS and so far we are
very pleased. The free version offers some, but not all of their
services and protection.

We do not use OpenDNS to filter traffic except for adware. We use it
reduce malware infections and it does seem to be working.

We use transparent mode squid proxies with squidGuard and a combination
of
both http://urlblacklist.com and openDNS.

We used to use Dansguardian with squid, but found that squidGuard
performs
much faster if all you do is blocking lists of URL/Domains and do not
need
complex regex.
