Oddly enough, the 18th was our high for the month so far. Quarantined/dropped messages here: 01/16/2010 3189145 01/17/2010 3615568 01/18/2010 4154106 01/19/2010 2856038 01/20/2010 3282946 01/21/2010 2001577 01/22/2010 1872763 Those numbers account for 94-98% of the messages showing up at our front door. - ken On 1/22/10 10:55 PM, Joe St Sauver wrote:
A nice large sample source of spam volume measurements is Senderbase: http://www.senderbase.org/home/detail_spam_volume?displayed=lastmon th&action=&screen=&order= (URL split due to length; use http://tinyurl.com/5qpth5 if you prefer). For some recent days: Date Spam Volume (billions) Jan 22 192.7 Jan 21 227.7 Jan 20 320.1 Jan 19 299.4 Jan 18 153.3 Jan 17 165.9 Jan 16 172.9 Note the doubling in volume from the 18th to 19th. Assuming that's not some sort of artifact, that's pretty dang impressive. Regards, Joe
