Hi,

We see our numbers go up and down all of the time .. no big trend.

Thursday, January 21, 2010 5:44 AM - 1,869,857 spam and other junk came from 295,753 unique IP addresses (about 6 
messages per host).

Wednesday, January 20, 2010 5:36 AM - 1,282,388 spam and other junk came from 294,747 unique IP addresses (about 4 
messages per host).

Tuesday, January 19, 2010 5:35 AM - 1,541,412 spam and other junk came from 327,350 unique IP addresses (about 4 
messages per host)

Monday, January 18, 2010 5:36 AM - 1,923,965 spam and other junk came from 292,712 unique IP addresses (about 6 
messages per host).

Sunday, January 17, 2010 5:28 AM - 1,465,025 spam and other junk came from 235,553 unique IP addresses (about 6 
messages per host).

Saturday, January 16, 2010 5:38 AM - 1,652,800 spam and other junk came from 258,384 unique IP addresses (about 6 
messages per host).

Friday, January 15, 2010 5:43 AM - 1,891,593 spam and other junk came from 303,342 unique IP addresses (about 6 
messages per host).

Thursday, January 14, 2010 5:39 AM - 1,597,208 spam and other junk came from 333,209 unique IP addresses (about 4 
messages per host).

We're seeing an uptick in spam the last few days -- mostly messages
consisting of a single link, with a noreply@[random domain] from field.

Is anyone else seeing this? Is there some new botnet in town?
