We previously used McAfee 8.6.1 with a lot of difficulty (i.e. high cpu utilization). Recently McAfee completely rewritten the mac version and released version 9 (aka Security Suite 1.0). It is missing a lot of features; however, the resource requirements are significantly lower. If you look at it as a 9.0 release, it is severely lacking. If you look as a 1.0 version, it has promise.
