Invitation to "Security in Lean Times" VA SCAN Conference October 5-6 at University of Virginia

You are invited to register for the October 5th and 6th  "Security in Lean Times" conference to be held at the 
University of Virginia in Charlottesville and hosted by the Virginia Alliance for Secure Computing and Networking 
(http://vascan.org). Don't miss this opportunity to hear leaders in the security field discuss current issues and to 
share ideas on effective security practices with your colleagues.

Registration: $100 for both conference days; $70 for one day; pre-registration required

Who should attend? Technical staff, managers, auditors, law enforcement officers, and others with interests in 
information security will find this conference very useful. While past conference participants have come primarily from 
higher education, K-12, state/local government, and law enforcement, individuals from all sectors are encouraged to 
attend.

* The half-day technical workshop on October 6th, "Windows Forensic Analysis: Dissecting the Windows Registry," will

vulnerability discovery, intrusion detection, and incident response. Rob is co-author of the bestselling book, Know 
Your Enemy, and is a certified SANS instructor.
