Hi Mike -

We enabled WMI on our public computers (for Windows XP) and setup a
cacti server (http://www.cacti.net/) to monitor usage. A simple little
script polls all our site machines every 5 minutes and cacti graphs the
usage. We also use it to graph application usage, across our 27 public
sites computer labs.

I would be interested in hearing about what everyone is using to monitor
Public computer usage in Libraries and kiosk areas. Specifically we
would like to run reports to generates patron usage to support planning
and resource allocation for new computer additions.
