seagate encrypted drive in Dell desktop

Has anyone retrofitted a Dell desktop with one of the
Seagate encrypted drives Dell offers in their laptops?
We're using them in our laptops but there are a few
desktops we'd like to use the drives in for performance
and other reasons.
