The EDUCAUSE Security Task Force Awareness & Training Working Group is
currently seeking approximately three dozen individuals to be part of a
panel of judges for the Computer Security Awareness Poster and Video
Contest 2009. This national contest is a search for creative, topical
and effective computer security awareness posters and videos developed
by college students for college students.

Judges will select three winners from each of four categories: posters,
training videos (two minutes or less), Public Service Announcements (30
seconds), and combined video/poster. A total of $8,800 will be awarded:
four "gold" prizes of $1,000, four "silver" prizes of $800 and four
"bronze" prizes of $400. The contest is now open and has a deadline of
April 30, 2009.

Judges will take part in two rounds of poster and video evaluation
during the month of May, 2009. During the first round, teams of judges
will be assigned a subset of the submitted videos, posters, and combined
(both). The three (3) highest rated submissions in each subsection will
then be combined into one final group for a final evaluation by the
entire panel of judges. The target date for selection of winners is June
1st.

As a judge, you will be able to view and evaluate videos and posters
online, based on the criteria outlined on the contest's website,
http://www.educause.edu/SecurityVideoContest2009. You will also be
expected to commit a short period of time in early April to familiarize
yourself with the online evaluation website and to optionally provide
feedback on the tool.
