slightly OT, has anyone considered outsourcing or managed SOC service instead of builing you own? Leo University of Guelph. Quoting David Seidl <dseidl () ND EDU>:
I've been tasked with leading our project to design and build a SOC as part of our security program. I'm looking for people who would be willing to answer a brief questionnaire, and who would also be willing to answer follow-up questions about your SOC design, build process, and experience thus far. I'll also be glad to summarize the data that I receive once I'm done for the group. If you have built a SOC, or you have an existing SOC, and would be willing to share your expertise, drop me a line. Thanks! David -- ------------------------------------------------------------ David Seidl, CISSP, GCIH University of Notre Dame, Office of Information Technologies
