Teresa: InfraGard is an FBI program to bring public and private sector security personal to build trust and exchange information concerning terrorists, intelligence, criminal and security matters. Membership involves a security check. While the program began with cyber security, it has branched out in a number of areas such as chemical and food/agriculture. It can provide good contacts with the FBI and others, meetings/presentations and access to some restricted papers of interest. Beyond that I understand the program varies from region to region and your mileage may vary with relevance to your needs. http://www.infragard.net/ Little Rock chapter http://www.infragard.net/chapters/arkansas.htm Dave Lundy ------------------------------------------------ David Lundy Assistant IT Security Officer University of the Pacific Stockton, CA 95211 Email: dlundy () pacific edu Voice: 209-946-3951 Fax: 209-946-2898 ________________________________ From: Vanderbilt, Teresa [mailto:tvanderb () OZARKS EDU] Sent: Monday, July 23, 2007 10:31 AM To: SECURITY () LISTSERV EDUCAUSE EDU Subject: [SECURITY] INFRAGARD Can anyone tell me about Infragard?
