Here in VA, DL #'s aren't SSNs so I suppose it's a little safer.
VA is not known to be a state that encodes its DL numbers, at least not publicly known. But if you consider using DL #s in any way, be sure you are not from a state that encodes its DL numbers by way of biological stats. google "driver license soundex" Jimmy
