PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT: PCIDSS Audio Conference June 13th

Following is a program announcement that I believe would be of interest
to many on the list.  Please feel free to pass along.  Let me know ASAP
if you have particular questions you would like to see addressed by the
panelists and I'll do my best to get them answered.

Program Title:  Dealing with the "Digital Dozen":  Practical Strategies
for Implementing PCIDSS in Higher Education

Most are now familiar with the twelve basic requirements for protecting
cardholder data that comprise the Payment Card Data Security Standard
(PCIDSS).  This audio conference will focus on "how to's" - offering
practical insights and guidance on implementation of the PCIDSS that
take into account the unique culture and organizational obstacles with
which colleges and universities must contend.  Presenters will discuss
compliance "realities" and "rumors" and offer practical solutions from
their distinct, expert perspectives.  Representatives from participating
Card Associations will join the presenters in responding to attendee
questions.

Date:  June 13,  2006, 1-2:30 pm ET (10-11:30 am PT)
Sponsor:  Higher Education Working Group of the International
Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) 
Cost:  The IAPP is offering a special discounted registration fee of $50
for members of the higher education community.  (CDs of the program will
also be available for the same fee.)  Certification of CPE credit is
available.
