INFORMATION SYSTEMS SECURITY MANAGER
Information Technology Services

In this key senior role, you will provide strategic leadership in development of policy, application of standards and 
guidelines, management of information security projects, and technical oversight to the computing and network security 
activities, to meet the needs of Queen's University for information systems confidentiality, integrity, availability 
and accountability. A proven facilitator, motivator and problem-solver, you bring a degree in a relevant discipline and 
substantial information systems experience, including a track record of success working directly with computing and 
network security. Your detailed knowledge of industry standard commercial and open source workstation, server and 
network architectures, operating software, and equipment is enhanced by familiarity with a higher education, academic 
medical, or government environment. Professional certification, such as CISSP, or demonstrated understanding of current 
information security policies, practices, procedures and tools, is expected.
