www.anixis.com <http://www.anixis.com/> , simple implementation, fair price, 2003 compatible, when used with their PPE product you can enforce password complexity by security group rather than Domain-wide only. http://mypw.tcu.edu <http://mypw.tcu.edu/> Bryan Lucas Server Administrator Texas Christian University (817) 257-6971 ________________________________ From: The EDUCAUSE Security Discussion Group Listserv [mailto:SECURITY () LISTSERV EDUCAUSE EDU] On Behalf Of Fretz, Kerry Sent: Wednesday, May 18, 2005 2:52 PM To: SECURITY () LISTSERV EDUCAUSE EDU Subject: [SECURITY] Self-service Password Reset Options Hello, We've been working on coming up with a solution to allow users to reset their own passwords via a secure web page that integrates into Active Directory. Does anyone have a working solution, either home grown or purchased, and what specific criteria are you requesting when the user changes their passwords? Of course the obvious area we are attempting to stay away from is using their social security numbers but also trying to keep it as secure as possible by privacy standards. Thank you.
