Secure IT 2005 Deadline Extended

For all of you who may be interested in presenting at the Secure IT 2005
Conference in San Diego in April 19-22, 2005, the deadline has been
extended one more week.

For the Secure IT 2005 Conference a new track on Curriculum Development
on Information Security and Assurance has been added. Please distribute
this information to faculty in Computer Sciences or Information Sciences
who may be interested in doing a presentation in this area.

Subject:        Secure IT 2005 RFP Held Over 1 Week

The Program Planning Committee of the 2005 Secure IT Conference just
announced that the Call for Proposals will remain open for another week.
 The new deadline to submit proposals is November 7, 2004.

Conference presentations will address the technical, management, and
curriculum development aspects of information security.  Presentation
formats will include individual and panel 75 minute presentations and
half and full-day sessions.  To propose a presentation, please complete
the electronic form located on the website at
http://www.secureitconf.com and click on Proposals. The deadline for
submission of proposals is November 7, 2004.  The Program Committee will
review the proposals and inform you if the paper is accepted or not by
December 17, 2004.  NOTE:  Abstracts should be 100 words or less;
Presentation descriptions should be 500 words or less.
