Dear EDUCAUSE Constituent and Discussion Group Subscriber,

As you may have discovered, EDUCAUSE recently launched its redesigned
Web site, with significantly improved functionality and access to
resources. The new site <http://www.educause.edu>, planned with help
from association members (including constituent group leaders) and
usability experts, offers the following new features:
* Improved navigation and site searching
* A consolidated online Resource Center
* Personalization options that enable you to bookmark favorite
searches and pages and receive e-mail alerts when content of
  interest is added
* A member directory enhanced with a peer directory element

We've created a four-minute Flash tour that covers these features and
more. Start the tour at
http://www.educause.edu/WebSiteTour/4943

If you haven't already, we encourage you to explore and establish a
personal profile to use the new Peer Directory, which lets you find
colleagues by individual name, job title, organizational role and
experience, and various institutional demographics. Once you have an
established profile, you can also sign up to receive email alerts about
new materials added to the Resource Center on selected topics of your
choice. Access the Peer Directory at
http://www.educause.edu/PeerDirectory/575

We hope you enjoy the powerful ways to access information and connect
with peers that the new EDUCAUSE Web site offers and will share your
comments and suggestions <http://www.educause.edu/Feedback/1615>.

For those of you who are attending EDUCAUSE 2004 please be sure to
confirm your group meeting time and place online at
<http://www.educause.edu/e04/program/1652>, and we wish you safe
travels.

Best wishes,
Joan Couse
