Checking Host's Health

       Are any one using a combination of netreg, nessus and webpages to
check the health of the host trying to access de network?

       In other words is anyone checking that the students/faculty's
laptops/desktops are free of OS security holes and virus before they
can get a valid ip address or a valid vlan?
