my suggestion is to first try a new keyboard.

 

it could be a bad keyboard even if the keys aren't sticking.  it could
possibly be a loose connection (to the computer).  it also could be a bad
chip on the motherboard.  it might even be something small wedged inside the
keys that you can't see.  it could possibly be something corrupted with
win98 but that's less likely.

 

if the new one works then you know right away it's your current keyboard.

 I am asking if anyone has experienced anything similar to what is described
below, and how you fixed it:

 

Recently, a PC withW98 has experienced random insertion of commas after the
letters m or n are typed.  the keyboard is not sticking and no new software
has ben added.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions?
