Security of WebEx and ActiveTouch for conferencing over the Internet - Help needed

I participate in a lot of webcasts, as a means of keeping up. I participated in one this month that used WebEx. The reason that I became concerned, was that I noticed that I had an "ActiveTouch" printer. Doing a little research, I found that this was an unauthenticated tool (at least I couldn't find any authentication in the descriptions). So I started thinking of open mail relays, Windows Messaging SPAM, and the faxes we get for vacations, etc. I started wondering if it could be exploited. It seems from the descriptions that I have read is that WebEx is designed more for intranet use. Anyone already done the risk analysis?
