SPAM Issues

We have recently seen an increase in spoofed headers coming to our sendmail
based E-mail servers.  I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing these
same problems and how you resolved this problem.

In the headers, the from field would list an internal e-mail address at the
college.  When looking further, most often a line in the header will also
read 'didn't use HELO protocol'

Has anyone else seen this lately, and if so how did you resolve this.
