(Global Data Point Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Vodafone Germany has
admitted to another data breach, Telecom Handels reports. A partner agency
in Kaiserslautern threw away documents with confidential customer
information into a paper recycling box on the street. This included
information such as customer addresses, bank details and copies of their
personal IDs. Vodafone said that the mistake was made by a temporary
employee and that it had informed federal data protection and telecoms
authorities.
