Owner of Middletown dance studio arrested for identity theft

County police say the owner of a Middletown dance studio is under
arrest after she went on a spending spree with a customer's credit
card info.

Police say Asa Jones of Elkton, who owns Live Love and Dance Studio,
illegally charged plane tickets, a hotel room and a helicopter ride
during a trip to California, to the debit card of a woman who's
daughter had using the studio since last summer.

Police say Asa was arrested by officers from the County and Elkton
departments Thursday at her home on the 200 block of Patriots Way in
Elkton, Md., after month-long investigation.

Police say searches of her home and the studio turned up additional
evidence of her connection to the crime.

She's currently being held by Elkton Police awaiting extradition to
Delaware and faces charges of identity theft and unlawful use of a
credit card.
