Identity theft high in Maryland

Maryland ranked third in the nation for incidents of fraud, identity theft and other complaints filed with the Federal Trade Commission in 2010, according to statistics from that agency. According to the agency, Maryland reported 23,581 incidents of fraud and 4,784 incidents of identity theft last year.
